Not sure how someone watches a game where each team scores 2 runs from non-homeruns but one of the teams adds 4 additional runs from homeruns to win 6-2 and comes away thinking that using homeruns to win baseball games is a poor strategy.

Really great teams can do all of that and hit HRs. That is called balance.

Really great teams win titles.

One of my biggest gripes with our team… I pretty much just assume we’re going to botch it up whenever it’s an obvious bunting situation. It’s one thing to do it for base hits, but it’s as fundamental as it gets to lay down a SACRIFICE bunt. The mechanics I see used by our players leads me to believe it’s not practiced or coached… dropping the barrel of the bat.. poking at the ball instead of “catching” it. It’s mind boggling

Same here. We have slow men at the corners. Tre Morgan's speed is sorely missed.

teams are begging other teams to bunt & give away outs.

Same reason Wofford can’t hit bombs & have the same athletes like LSU.
Bunting has never been LSU’s “game”, even in situational times, LSU has never constantly been able to use the bunt effectively on a regular basis.
