You should go back and look at his Junior year again. It wasn't in the same stratosphere as his Senior year, in which he threw to the same receivers he had in 2012.

Yeah. Except for compl%,Mett's 2012 season was statistically the same as Anthony Jennings' 2014 season.

Im a posi boys.
Lets try this again.

Do u feel Cam has earned his pay on the recruiting trail and QB development?

How many turnovers the last 6 games by Mett his Jr yr. Mett played better as the season progressed period. Stay in denial. And if u are seriously comparing Mett's jr year to what we ran out there last yr well keep reading stats. U can always find a number to make your point. Do u have eyeballs u should use them sometime whern the Tigers are playing.

Mett's last game in 2012:
14/23 120 yards 1 TD 1 INT

Mett's first game in 2013:
16/32 251 yards 1 TD 0 INT

After Auburn which was the 2nd west loss, we were out of it.

First, this isn't accurate based on the 1500 threads in October pertaining to tie-breaking scenarios. Second, this doesn't remotely address the shift in offensive play calling of which you claim to be ignorant.

watched every game Mett's jr year and if u couldnt see the improvement each game especially with turnovers well..... u are entitled to your opinion.

What? In his junior year ,he threw more ints in the last 3 games than he did the rest of the games combined. Facts

If you are a great HS QB, or his parent, maybe:
1.LSU 's persistent problem is not YOUR problem; and
2. There's no need to take a chance on LSU 's problem when you have great options.
Miles created this problem and perception, he has to fix it. Don't blame the kids for wanting to avoid it.
WE are the problem.
Not the kids.

I think it's widely accepted that you can't judge a coach's impact until year 3. He could be the next Crowton, great initial year followed by disappointment.

Or

He could turn Jennings into a competent SEC QB in his Junior year, while bringing in the #3 DTQB in 2014 and the #1 DTQB in 2016. He's already got a commitment from the #1 PPQB for 2018.

Coaches salaries are given based on what you have done prior to getting the job. I think the upcoming season will determine of we've gotten out money's worth. He did a great job developing Mett. Mett's 2012 stats were almost as bad as Jennings' and in 2013 Mett was 260 yards away from throwing for more yards in a season than any lsu qb ever and he led the sec in qb rating.

Facts prove youre wrong. During Miles' tenure no sec program has put more qbs in the nfl. Its like you make shite up to bash our program.

No shite Sherlock really... who wouldve known. Is this limited to just coaches?

Higher salary should equal higher expectations... Read that again Jax, since u seem to enjoy lecturing people.

This was the worst QB play Miles has had and we are paying top dollar. We had all of two QB's on the roster last yr. How would that have worked out for The Ohio State University last yr?

Just bringing in McMillan only, just doesnt cut it for me nor does running off Rettig, Rivers and Bolden. Add in not developing the QB's sooner or adjusting the offense and I think its a fair question especially if it had any effect on Chavis leaving.

I personally expected much more after 2 yrs.

Then that's your fault.

2008 was Jarrett Lee's 2nd year.
2009 was Jordan Jefferson's 2nd year.
2012 was Zach Mettenberger's 2nd year.
2014 was Anthony Jenning's 2nd year.

None of those were on par with 2005, 06, 07, 11, or 13.

Im talking about the OC, chilge.
Even after the frickin debacle against Auburn, we werent doing what was needed.
U have a struggling QB and u dont throw the ball to the TE or RB until the bowl game? I think Cam has admitted this hasnt he?

You think the OC wasn't responsible for the transition from the Vertical Offense we saw early to 50+ rushes a game?

One more time Chilge.

Do u think Cam has earned his money when it comes to recruiting and offensive production?

If your answer is yes then we can agree to disagree. Each is entitled to their opinion on the subject.

Every LSU QB in the last 10 years has had a stint in the NFL.

Russell has $40mil in career earnings

Matt Flynn has nearly $20mil in career earnings

That;s like the idiots that think Alabama's 1st round "busts" at RB are something we can use against them.

A recruit wants to be put into that postion(ie high pick). NFL success is determined by them. Just get them the opportunity. Its that simple.

I used to think this. But by now the evidence has piled up. Miles has produced some of the worst offenses pound for pound that I have ever seen. I am fairly sure most star QB's have seen LSU in action and said
