Anytime you start HH you are giving the other team an automatic out. Yeah I would say that is a problem, but your right they all sucked last night

With a weak defense you are giving away outs as well.

I wasn't saying he was the only problem, but to continue to start him acting like something will change is insane. His defense isn't that much better to have his subpar bat in the lineup.

The fact he has been a 3 year starter at a program like LSU is an indictment on the head coach/coaching staff.

He isn’t expecting his hitting to change much. Everyone can see he plays because he’s one of our better defenders which is important believe it or not. Also what you mentioned is not an indictment because you are ignoring injuries and the draft.

Saying we started 4 freshman is no excuse for not scoring. If 4 freshman are the best we have, then CPM can't recruit. It all comes back to coaching. Not to mention there are five other batters. To get shut out is embarrassing. Obviously the season is young. So hopefully things will get better as we get into the season.

Well we had some good hitters leave for the draft. We’ve had some Skip and not make it in because of the draft. We’ve also had injuries. Obviously you don’t want to have four freshman in the starting lineup. However Milazzo basically took the position from Garza. These freshman are very good. They need time though.

Maybe so, but people are damn tired of the same ol shite every year. LSU fans will never except losing to EKU at home and McNeese St. they didn’t when Skip was the coach and won’t no matter who the coach is.

Regardless, Our baseball program feels like it is complacent and needs a shake up

And? I know you are being positive and I can appreciate that. The team is the team he recruited and put on the field. He knew who was leaving and who wasn't coming. He doesn't recruit well. He doesn't manage well. But I do agree that things should get better as the season moves on. It's not easy to judge a team this early.

Actually you don’t always know who is leaving and who isn’t coming while you are recruiting. This recruiting class was pretty good but they need time. That’s just a fact.

They know pal, trust me. They talk to pro scouts all the time. It's extremely rare for someone with a decent to high draft grade to stay in college. But it's not a big deal, we all want them to succeed.

Nobody is panicking. The team looks really good.

We’ve got a roster that some feel could compete for a national title.

Getting shutout against a mid level ohio valley conference team is just baseball

You’re becoming very proficient in playing your role. Lol. Isn’t it amazing that you very rarely get a rise from anyone when you do it? That’s how you know apathy is beginning to set in.

Paul has made me find something else to do during baseball season. I never did like him for LSU and will continue to stand on that soapbox and scream it proudly.

Because we can’t hit and produce runs.

Ok, now come on!

That's like going to see your high school friends' shitty local band play a bar and telling them how good they sounded and that they have the potential to make it in the record business.

Don't do that. There is nothing about the team this year that looks "really good".

It’s not about losing it’s about effort, knowing the game, and correcting deficiencies.
