with all the cash i am forking out for gustav and potentially Ike, i just can't do it.

I think that will be the case with a lot of fans who live in the BR area. It's just too far and too short of a notice, not like a bowl game where you have weeks to plan. I definitely think LSU needs to play the game regardless, but I don't think they'll have a big crowd if they play in Dallas.

This is likely the case for me. I'd love too, but given the money that I've been paying that the fact that I make be taking a lesser paycheck since I havn't been working for the last week, I just don't think I can swing a trip to Dallas.

This sucks, been waiting 4 years to get back to BR for a football season, and it will likely be another 4 years after this year till I may be back again.

#1 - Going off of what Alleva said, it doesn't look like it's going to happen in Dallas. It's option A Baton Rouge, option B, SuperDome, option C Atlanta

#2 I disagree. I think Texas Stadium would be full for LSU-North Texas ... not your "typical" LSU "home" crowd obviously, but full nonetheless.

Living in OKC, it would be best for me to have a chance to see the game in Dallas.....

I still defer to Shreveport, though. It's a LA city, and it deserves to have the venue in-state rather than in a Texas city.

Is Indy Stadium not an option due to previously scheduled games, or is it a matter of preference to go to another city?

May not be a big enough stadium to assign seats to the 90k that hold tickets to the game in Tiger Stadium.

If Ike continues its current path, it has a greater chance of hitting Dallas eventually than it does of hitting BR.

Not to watch LSU play North Texas but would go if they played a Big 12 team in a neutral site game! That should be the non conference angle game LSU should try and schedule on a yearly basis or at least every other year. Even if its Baylor or Oklahoma State it could turn into a nice little matchup.

Does anybody know what the ticketing/seating policy would be if it is played there? Obviously the Tiger Stadium seating does not match with the seating of Irving Stadium. I'd drive down from OKC if I could get tickets.

I'll be evacuating to Dallas for the storm, so I'll be there.
