Saban because of what he did at 2 programs. I will take Miles on gamedays though.

I hope my quotations didn't mistake me for being "trapped". Retard. The fact that you try to lure people into the thread with the title is what makes you a douche.

LOL. I dont remember telling you what I was trying to do Nostradamus. I wont argue with someone who calls people douche on a message board with 16,000 posts.

oops check that 18,000

I think Saban is better at surrounding himself with quality coaches but Les is learning very fast how important that is.

to the post count boom...

I couldn't care less really guy. Actually came to call you out on the same tired "which coach is better" argument.

If you don't start posting correct thread titles I will have no choice but to whack the thread. 3 whacks = ban. I'll let this one slide..

as much as I hate to say, Saban is a better coach.

i disagree. there are some things saban does better than miles and vice versa. both have had their meh moments and their brilliant moments. they both run their respective programs as good as there is in the country. one could say that saban is better at turning programs around and while i agree he's damn good at it, the programs he turned around were prime for it. give him the university of houston, duke, temple, etc he's not the second coming.

Saban yells on the sidelines, therefore he's the better coach

At this point, the evidence supports the position that Saban is the better coach. Saban has two NC's, three SECC's, four BCS bowl appearances, two undefeated regular seasons, one undefeated overall season, and a single one loss season.

Miles has one NC, one SECC, two BCS bowl appearances, zero undefeated regular seasons, zero undefeated overall seasons, zero one loss seasons.

Now, there is still hope for Miles to win this argument in the long run...but only if he prevails this year. If Saban wins on Nov. 5, he will have the head to head advantage and will VERY likely go on to win his FOURTH SECC and THIRD NC with his THIRD undefeated regular season and his SECOND undefeated overall season. The argument would be over, for any honest observer.

Probably the most accurate breakdown and difference between them and Miles has closed that gap significantly with Krag's hire.

Saban is a better coach by a mile. Miles is almost as good of a program manager and has gotten better recently.

Agreed. Saban is probably a better consultant to turn the ship and understanding the finer points of efficiency and effectiveness. Miles though is better at the everyday Management- the ins and outs of utilizing the tools he has. Not saying Saban doesn't but Miles isn't exactly fighting his own to make it his own.
