Had another topic but I want to see what people think, how the hell are we going to replace the best college QB ever? I mean we still lethal on offence but we need a another heisman contender to put our stamp on college ball!

You got your answer last thread. BRENNAN followed by Max Johnson, Finely, Caleb Williams, or Nussmeier......that’s your future choices

Damn, really gonna leave out Parrish like that huh? Not like he wasn’t a 4* Quarterback like the rest of these guys. Not saying he wins the job next year by any means, but he’s somebody to keep an eye on

You started two threads asking the same question?

It'll be Brennan.

Is Brennan as good as Burrow? No but that's not a shot at the kid. He's very good. I think he'll surprise some people.

This sounds like a question asked by a fan of another team.
It’s Brennan.

Yeah I started another tread but as you read at the top of this one I’ve said I’ve made another one , I live in the back arse of Texas at the minute and the first one wouldn’t load so I wasn’t sure if it went up or not. So I did as the same question twice only on the basis I couldn’t read the replies of the first one.

You can see both on the board. Not trying to be a jerk, I'm not that poster but just look for your thread before you start another one asking the same thing.

It'll be Brennan. He backed up Burrow all season, more than likely learned things from Burrow, as did the other QBs but Brennan has more time in the system than they do and I believe this system that Burrow was so great in because it's what he was familiar with going back to his high school days and so forth is the same that Brennan played in when he was in high school in Saint Stanislaus, MS. (I could be wrong there. It's just something I remember reading on here) I'm willing to bet that the two have talked about certain plays and so forth during this season.

Again, I wasn't trying to be rude or anything but it'll be Brennan.

He doesn't have to be Burrow, just needs defenses to respect that he read what they're trying to do.He has a cannon and great receivers returning.

Unless Brennan literally drops that ball it will be Brennan.

Of course Brennan will not be Burrow. No one will. But Brennan actually has some skills that Burrow doesn’t.
Bigger more electric arm being the best example.

The O will not be the same but can be just as effective winning games. We basically run the Saints Offense. When Brees was out Bridgewater started and won games the O was different but won. And next year Hill may just run it replacing Brees. Will be interesting to see. But I’ll bet on Hill being good.

Just as I think Brennan will be really good too.

The “Saints” offense is good and can be good with different QB’s of different skill sets.

I think Myles will be good, but I’m not expecting him to come in and be Joe Burrow 2.0. Expecting him to duplicate the most dominant season ever by a college QB is unreasonable.

We won’t run the same system. The system is to fit the players. That scramble won’t happen with Brennan. We will utilise Brennan’s arm strength. We use Brennan’s strengths when Parrish, Johnson, Finley, Williams or Nussmeier or someone else step into LSU we will run a system that suits them. You can get Brennan to scramble and he might but Brennan doesn’t have elusiveness joe has. Joe doesn’t have as good an arm. We will be fine.

Since Joe Burrow's arm is far more accurate relative to Myle's arm, Joe Burrow has the better arm. Excuse me. Unless accuracy means nothing.

Now, if Myles can match or better Joe Burrow's accuracy, then I might consider Myles as having the better arm, but until he proves it, then he doesn't have the better arm. I'm sorry. I mean what good does having a strong arm if it is not accurate?

Joe Burrow is to Myles Brennan what Carson Palmer was to Matt Leinart or Baker Mayfield to Kyler Murray. One Heisman handing the reigns to another.
