How in the hell does Les "own" Dan Mullen? In the guy's first year, his team beat LSU if not for a miracle play by Chad Jones and then another miracle play by Chad Jones.
Chiz has only been there one year, and Petrino didn't exactly get pummeled in Tiger Stadium last year.
Last time I checked, Nutt has beaten Les two out of the last three seasons and with two different teams.

They haven't dominated us for well over a decade including the last two years. But gumps will be gumps.

NO SEC fan base wants him to get fired. As many have said, they hope we keep him around for a long time, as the longer we keep him around, the happier they are.

It has to Alabama
Not us. I'd prefer you guys to go anywhere from 8-5 to 12-...as long as one of those L's is to Bama.
I like Les just fine.

LSU fans want LSU to fail ( not me) so LSU will get rid of Miles.......

We won a BCS titile in 2007.

Probably only Houston Nutt and Saban. Les owns Dan Mullen, the Chiz and Bobby Petrino.

There is so much fail in this thread it's laughable.

From reading this board, one would think that nobody wants LSU to fail as much as its own fans.
I may have seen 2-3 posts advocating someone wanting LSU to lose. Expecting a mediocre season isn't wanting the team to fail.
I could never root against LSU, but if this team again fails next year, loses 5 games, I don't think much of anyone could be supportive of Les Miles as still being the head coach going into 2011. We have clearly fallen behind both Florida & Alabama, not just in wins/loses, but perception by Tiger fans & the rest of the country, dispite our great recruiting. I don't expect to play for a BCS championship every year, but over the past few years we have been nowhere near being a contender. The Ryan P. excuse has worn thin...

if LSU makes a big splash in hiring a big name coach our recruits will go no where.
LSU hasn't made a "Big Splash" in hiring a Head Football Coach since Arsparger. And instead of offering him the AD posiotion, you let him go to FLorida, while clinging onto Bob Brodhead for ...damn almost a whole year.
Your recruits are Gone Pecan if your BOS & AD fire Miles. But Mile talks funny, he doesn't say Gone Pecan, so it ok if LSU loses the Top Recruiting class.
Brang on 'da Sexton second tier coaches! Ayeeee!

...and then you do the traditional Firing of the Coach, wait 4 or 5 more years, Fire!! that coach. So in 6 years, maybe you can be a Top 25 again, after Soliching your team, and being tauted as the next Nebraska of College Football frickups. And yet again, grabbing the brass ring as one worst destinations for College Football Coaches.

Bama would love LSU to win 8-10 games a year and Les continue to be Nick's bitch

Saban, tired of everyone ki$$ing his @$$ and acting like he's the best coach ever. That and I hold grudges, lying piece of $h*t! He could've at least won his last d@mn game at LSU, it's like he did that $h*t on purpose.

I guess all SEC West coaches are "Nick's bitch" then, huh? And i guess all those coaches suck too.

Please describe the last 3 games we played against them........
ALL 3 were very competitive and hard fought games.....Bama isn't dominating LSU by any stretch.

We had a chance at beating Bama the last 2 years despite our Qb play (believe we've led them in the 4th the last 2 years too).
