U might as well add JJ to the options. He can do more than Mettenberger

My point was, TM was on the team on 1/9/12 and LSU got blasted, this was in response to the post saying if TM was on the 2012 team LSU goes undefeated

Why is that hard to believe? Two close losses in the regular season. It shouldn't be difficult to believe at all.

Tyrann Mathieu is a playmaker! Plain and simple. LSU lost two close games to Florida and Alabama that if they had a Tyrann Mathieu maybe they win both. I can easily see him in typical HB mode blitzing Florida's QB and McCarron and stripping them of the ball like he likes to do to run it back in for a score or waiting in the wings for McCarron to dump it off to that RB(forget his name) for Bama on the last drive that killed us. But him waiting to step in front of that RB to steal a INT. The kid always had a nose to make those kind of plays!

Randle is the correct answer. He is what made our offense what it was in 2011.

and yet the guy wasn't thrown to one time I think in the natinal championship game. Simply unforgivable!

P.S.- To just add a lil more. Miles should have come out just like Saban had McCarron do, it would have been bombs away on Alabama's secondary if he had an OC callin the game instead of himself and Studwara. Alabama's secondary hadn't been truly tested all season and I think it was there one weakness just like this year. Yeah they had Barron and Kirkpatrick, but those guys were not good against the pass. Barron was primarily a runn stuffer for them and Kirkpatrick could def get beat long. Bama was super strong with their front 7 against the run, but I believe and still do that had Miles called Randle's number on deep throws like they did during the season in some games and did it often on Bama, we would have seen a different game, but we will never know because this bozo refused to do it for whatever damn reason!

The fla game was not close
1st downs: fla 22 LSU 8
3rd downs: fla 7-14 LSU 1-13
Rushing yrds: fla 176 to 42

TM7 wouldn't have made a damn bit of difference, I have never seen him play offense

Did I say he played offense idiot?? I said he is a play maker, do you know what that means, obviously frickin not! And what was the final score for the Florida game?? I could give a shite about how many first downs they had!

I think they beat Bama this year (past season) and win the West.

Bama had their way with TM both times in 2011. With that said, the 2012 game was so close that I think TM would have made enough of a difference to win it. I don't think Randle would have made enough of a difference in the Bama game. JMO.

they didn't have their way with anyone on our defense that first time. both Tyran and Reid had their way with Bama's TE though.
