Burrow had 6 games last year with a worse completion percentage than Lawrence's from last night. Just FYI

Lawrence was 13 of 23 (56.5%), 168 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs - Looked sloppy and unprepared.

Think about this; Trevor Lawrence, who will be a Hesiman finalist, has all but assured himself that he won't hit 70% completion percentage on the year with this performance. And yo/u said it's "not unlikely" that Joe does it. Do you realize how delusional you are yet?

I like to hope some of ours will too.

Having functioning brain cells forces us to argue with him. He's the most delusional person on this site.

Yep, that was a classic performance. Until proven otherwise he's the best in the game.
It was indeed a classic passing game performance. But I would give the Lion's share of credit to the Clemson WRs. And Lawrence did do a solid job at QB*.

But better than his WRs? No, IMO.

Lawrence did a great job of putting the ball where they could catch it.

He threw for 3280 yards, not staring all season, with a 65% completion pctg, I am impressed.

As a true FR he threw for 30 TDs vs 4 INTs. Good receivers sure, but make an attempt to be honest. Lawrence is a great QB.

If Burrow, as a senior, had a similar game against Georgia Southern, you'd die of dehydration from fapping too hard.

Lawrence did that against Alabama. As a true Freshman. In his 8th start ever. In the National Championship Game.

Tell us more about Burrow's superior "football skills"

18 of 35, 184 yards 1 INT

versus

20 for 32, 347 yards and 3 TDs

Which is better?

These are the stats from both QBs playing Alabama last year.

If we are going to cherry pick and make stupid fricking points, lets all do it.

You'll never get Buckeye to admit that anyone considered a top QB is better than Burrow.

QBs always get too much credit when the team wins and too much blame when they lose. That's the nature of the position. A QB's won/loss record is one of the most absurd stats there is.

It's not bizarre. Bizarre is putting the performance/ability of a player you support in a narrative that would negatively affect his perception due to the other performer's clearly superior stats/skills/accomplishments or whatever variable you choose.

It just defies logic.

He also put the ball in places (and caught by his amazing WRs) that 99 out of 100 college WRs couldn't snag on their best damn day.

Joe picked this crew. It is what it is.

You can't blame that crew for his shortcomings.

Ok, then what is the point of your post, or furthermore, your presence on this board.

You care nothing about the other players on the field for LSU, but you do Clemson.

Ol Jeaux can.

He says that only 1 of 100 WRs in college could make the plays that saved Lawrence, but when the same effort would need to be made to catch about 20% of passes from Burrow...he condemns the receivers and the coaches. Hypocritical doesn't even begin to describe his bull shite.

You should just leave the board.

None of us want you here, and your quarter-witted opinions are generally not welcome.

Get fricked, already.
