I know since we are ranked ahead of them and look like the better team on paper and a better record, that LSU should be favored by the oddsmakers. But when you factor in the home team and all the other intangibles and the way the media loves Alabama, they will more than likely be favored by 1 to 3 points or it could be a "pick em". What sayeth the RANTARDS?

I expect it to open with Bama somewhere between a 3 to 5 point favorite. I'll say Bama -3.5

If it were a neutral field, bama would be somewhere around 2 to 4 point favorites.

If it were in Baton Rouge, it might actually open as a pick it to a 1 point favorite either way.

BAMA is at home, I feel like they are probably going to be 5 or 6 point favorites. 3 for being at home and then probably another 3

The odds makers don't give a shite about the media, hype, etc. If they did, then why was 3-3 unranked USC favored over a #4 Utah team who all season has looked like a better team than USC (a game, by the way, the oddsmakers nailed by favoring USC).

All things being even, Bama gets 3 points for being at home (-3). Starting from there I think you see Bama favored by seven (7)

Bama has been favored in every game since the 2009 SEC Championship. I don't that will change here.

Edit: Correction, Bama was an underdog to UGA this year which is really surprising looking back.

Even Vegas got fooled by those big wins of Georgia leading up to that game over:

Bama will be favored because of the home field advantage and because their power rating is slightly higher than ours.
