It would be great to have rational discussions on here but some won’t allow that so I will poke the bear at times.

Yet you thought Les needed to be fired on that same record.
The record wasn't Miles' problem. Miles' problem was that he couldn't recruit a QB into his offense and he wouldn't change his offense, thus perpetuating the problem. He was fired because he had no answer to the glaring problem that his teams had annually.

So you're fine with 3 losses along as the qb play is good?

Jimbo maybe...
Jimbo was 10-10 in his last 20 ACC games. People think it was a one year slide for him at FSU but it was a 2 1/2 year slide. How does a school like FSU go 10-10 over 20 games in a conference that is 2-3 teams deep?

Maybe RB is your mentor and not the other way around.

Seems like he is fine with 3 to 4 losses and below average qb play. Reminds of a former coach we had but I can't remember his name

I said maybe...he does have hardware so that counts for something.
But I dont believe he still has the same fire as he had at FSU and wont take TAM to greater heights...which I love because the phags are gonna kill themselves in droves.

As does Fulmer, Coker, and Mac Brown.

Thats not what he said and youre cherry-picking. He mentioned the offensive ineptitude.

Don't get the Ricky/RB sisters started on cherry picking, they'll lay out some fully Hillary logic on you.

Ah, so if he were 11-1 that year with the same offense you'd still want him fired?

Oh yes... The weekly debate about O and Les.... This is getting SAD INDEED.............

coach losing at Ole Miss over 10 years ago is as meaningless as Ronald Reagan's failed 1976 campaign is to his legacy.
I'm a firm believer in redemption, that people can change by learning from past failures. I was neutral on the O hire, but do think he can get the s where we need to go
Being an alcoholic and reformed philanderer, I like to see people redeem themselves. One thing I've learned is people can definitely change if they're open to new ways of doing things.

OK, let's start where I think everyone here can agree, most years Miles was a QB away from competing for a national championship. I think we can all agree here.
His teams were always that close to being contenders and everyone knew what he needed. Every year he'd swing and miss on QBs, settling for lower ranked guys that weren't SEC caliber.
Everyone knew that the scheme (Ricky
