Freshman as NFL talent......
I'm out guys I can only handle so much of your football ignorance at once. The only one of you retards that understands football in the discussion is Rb and 1st cut
ball situations and has the length to match up well with bigger receivers. Quick enough to blanket smaller receivers as well. Plays with a ton of fire and emotion and never takes a play off. Is highly competitive and was an elite-level receiver before being used exclusively as a cover corner. Projects as a impact upper tier Power 5 starter and future high round NFL draft pick
This is Elias Ricks evaluation. Looks like NFL talent to me.

Where did all of this talent that O inherited get drafted?
Wouldn't this have been a year that all of that talent went into the NFL?
Where's all of the talent that you've been assuring us is on the team.
The #18 9-4 team that O fielded in 2017 had seven players drafted. That was tied for second most in the country.
This year had three drafted after a few upperclassmen decided to stay in BR, and next year will have five at the very least.
Pretending that O didn’t inherit one of the most talented rosters in the country is pure ignorance/propaganda.
Neither one is surprising coming from you, ben.

les was absolutely finished so being an upgrade from that is honestly not a very high bar. he's exceeded my expectations but my expectations were extremely low. this is the year that will make or break him with me tbh, no excuse to be a 3-4 loss team with this group he's got

To the contrary, Roger and I have acknowledged that Mett’s senior year was better statistically, but noted that Burrow isn’t there yet.

The 2017 class is gone.
The 2016 recruiting class fielded one regular offensive starter, Cushenberry. He’s solid, but let’s not pretend that he’s going to be a top draft pick. That class was juniors last year and should be seniors this year. Those offensive players are all gone or were passed on the depth chart by younger players. Pettigrew is the only other potential starter for this year, his redshirt junior year.

How many play offense you ignorant frick?

Poor ole O just didn’t have anything to work with, you can’t expect the guy to win any games with average talent! When will these guys learn that O needs top tier elite talent at every single position to compete with other teams!
Posted on 5/2/19 at 7:14 am to bencoleman
They always down vote the 2016 offensive class facts, but no one can refute it. That offensive class was poor and should’ve been juniors in 2018. That’s a huge hit to overcome.

They're so fricking pathetic. Not admitting a fact that's staring you in the face doesn't make it any less true. It just makes them look like fricking clowns.

Everybody look at the village idiot.

you seriously don’t realize how you’ve suppressed the evidence that Mett’s numbers significantly improved from his first to second year of starting
So me using the fact that Mett was better is me suppressing the evidence that Mett was better? My entire argument is that using ALL OF THE DATA shows that Mett was better.
This can only be explained to you so many times before we are forced to accept that you just don’t understand what you’re talking about.

So given what we know, Mett is/was better. This is what I’ve said from the beginning.
Now, go ahead and argue with the very statement that you just made.

If I'd been arguing for a year about how talented LSU was when O took over and only one person got drafted off of the offense. I probably wouldn't even show up to post so I admire your courage. I wouldn't be calling anybody else an idiot though if I were you.

All drafted. All here when Orgeron took over. Would you like to try again Ben, or are you just going to slink off like you normally do after you post stupid shite?

Wait, so we had someone earlier in thread arguing about using one draft class in favor of Miles, and they got absolutely brow beaten for it. Now that you're doing it in favor of Orgeron it's perfectly acceptable? Makes sense.
By the way ben, you didn't say anything about a certain draft class. You literally said, "how talented LSU was when O took over".
Keep attacking people though you dusty old frick.
