too bad for Jordan that he somehow managed to get worse his junior year, much worse in fact.

Better players than Jordan Jefferson have regressed in their college careers.

This is why it’s so funny to see people talk about experience like it automatically means the player will be better. This isn’t NCAA Football 14.

In most cases, yes. It's the norm

Les Miles QBs, except for Mett in 2013, are exceptions

2 minor corrections. Mizzo was 1 WVU was 2 and we were 7 in the BCS 5 in the human polls.

Hell, we needed more help in 2003 to jump USC to get into the title game.

There were a handful of seemingly irrelevant games on the final weekend that had to go our way to boost our SOS over USCs, including 5-6 Syracuse beating 5-6 Notre Dame and Boise State beating Hawaii at like 3 am

I'm not sure I have ever seen a player get that much worse after one year, at least at LSU. It is not normal for a player to regress that much.

players generally do get better, though. No they don't always, but more times than not they do

Forgive my recruiting ignorance, but didn't we sign the #1 WR class in the country last year?

Rodger did nothing but shite on the oline all year and for some reason he thinks a year will make them go from," overrated and average at best(his words)" to being able to allow lsu to have a very explosive offense.

that's quite a leap you just took. I don't know why people have to argue in such extremes when it's completely unnecessary

Based on what?
Hope and prayers?

Our 2018 opponents rushing yards per carry was 51st. That's a direct reflection of our dline not getting attention and olinemen making it to our lbs.
But hey Rodger says fire sooo....

People like Roger run around here saying everyone is guaranteed to get better, and then calls anyone who disagrees a moron.

Yet, We watched our last two stud running backs have worse years because of nagging injuries. Greedy regressed a bit from 2017 to 2018.

No one ever predicts it to happen, and no one wants it to happen. Acting like it can’t happen is foolish though.

Call your wife overrated and average at best looking and see if she thinks it's a put down.

Only someone that gets his sense of self worth from an anonymous sports message would think calling someone overrated and average af their best isnt bashing them.

Wait are you saying that bc I am questioning you about 2 ex LSU wrs that went to the nfl and set records in the nfl that I’m calling current players scrubs? That is absolutely retarded logic!

Didn’t you spend 3-4 pages arguing with roger about our incoming RBs being an upgrade over Brossette AND that Mett was a better qb than Burrow in their first seasons at LSU... and now you can’t admit that having 2 all pro wrs on a team is proof that offense had more talent?

I wouldn't call that regressing necessarily.

eh, his production was pretty much the same and it was clear he played not to get hurt last year. I don't recall him having any bad games except maybe the very tail end of the A&M game
