He had no knees left. There is a good chance he couldn't have played a lot of snaps this year. Someone on the paid site said the trainers told him there isn't any cartilage left and he decided he needed to try and get some money while he can still move his legs.

No, a redshirt sophomore is a junior in college. In terms of eligibility they are considered a redshirt sophomore.

wrong. His academic standing is what's most official, not to mention, the lingo here is in reference to the NFL and they view him as a junior. glad I could educate you.
