Was never the same after injuring his knee late in HS. He has just never become the player we hoped he could be here at LSU. It is a shame, but it happens all the time.

Had some of the best DE film I've seen from his junior year. The way he used his hands to shed defenders was simply uncanny.

Go with Adams or Edwards opposite of Montgomery and when it's 3rd/long go with Mingo and Montgomery on the outside or if we go to Mustang. During Mustang I expect to see Mingo/Montgomery on the outside almost every time with a penetrator on the inside like Freak or Downs.

Good gawd its gonna be fun watching Sam and Mingo coming off the edges on 3rd and 7. Who's going to have the nut sack to call a pass with that scenario? Then with our cover corners, its going to be a real gamble any time they throw. Get ready for a lot of draws and screens next season.

Personally I think Edwards will be the starter in the season opener. Just haven't heard or seen much from Adams. If we can develop some run stuffing DTs (looking at you Freak) this could be an outstanding D.

I haven't paid much attention to Mo in run support. Anybody have an idea how good he is? Tyrann seems to be more than adequate on his side.

DE's Chancey Aghayere and Jordan Allen aren't listed on the depth chart. Why not? They displayed the RT position 4 deep, and RE 3 deep. Serious question; I'm sure there's a reason but just don't know what it is.
