As has been pointed out, you need Berry and Jobert in the lineup. You live with the errors for the sake of the bat. Especially if you think Jobert doesn’t fit defensively.
I’m in favor of this most of the time, but when we play Tennessee’s ace, for example, runs will be rare no matter if Berry or Merrifield are batting. Rare for us, that is; the Vols will be ringing them up on our errors.

Berry to 1st , Morgan to CF , Crews to RF, Dugas to 2b , Jobert to LF , Thompson to 3b, Travenski DH , Millazo catch…
But seriously , I think all we can do is hope Berry improved at 3b - cause I doubt he’s going anywhere

Should we sacrifice a bat for better D is the better question. at this point maybe, but its not going to be Jobert or berrys.

I think the line up is solid and at this point scoring runs is more valuable than defense. Just have to hope they don’t hit it in his direction very often

I cannot understand this line of thinking. It’s just not true. Only fans think that. It’s true for shitty baseball, but to win the SEC and the national championship the defense has to be very good or else you have to be very lucky so that the errors don’t hurt you too much.
In TD Ameritrade Park a lot of these HRs are going to be loud outs. That’s where they separate the men from the boys and defense becomes exceptionally important.

Doughty? He can’t catch either! I would make entire infield stay after practice every day and field 100 ground balls until they can play one game without an error.

Dugas back to second, Thompson to SS,Doughty 3rd base. Berry dh. Best situation for bad situation.
