Both, lsu pays his base salary of 200,000 to 500,000 then the rest comes from taf radio etc

I’m responding without the article in front of me, but from what I remember the over payment started in June and was caught in November. It’s not as if the overpayment went on for an entire year.
But it is a black eye for the Athletic Department’s money guys.

It is NOT taxpayer money that funds LSU. That's part of LSU's funding problem. The state pays an ever DECREASING part (%) of LSU's operating expenses.
CBK gets $400K a year out of LSU's operating expenses. The rest of his compensation comes from TAF/LSUAD donations.
