Belle was more of a problem child and a prima donna. His dad didnt help the situation much either.
I played for their dad at Airline, freshman football
Both Belle bros were stellar young men when they were younger.

This was Bossier Dixie I'm speaking of and my experience with this crew wasn't as rosy...and that's putting it mildly.
I never had direct confrontations with them...just saw stuff happen.

Tim Nugent.
Took the L in game 3 of the 2001 Super Regional against my green wave.

Warren Morris, because he was average athletically but gave everything to be good and had the pinnacle HR in Tiger history.
Also loved Jared Poche from recent years. He gave all he had to LSU surrounded by pitchers with more talent, and became the all-time wins leader.
Also have to give props to my friend Clay Parker. Before LSU Baseball was cool and when LSU Football was mediocre, he was an excellent pitcher and punter for both.

So many to choose from that you can’t go wrong but for me it’s Blair Barbier with Brad Cresse running close behind.

Sadly I was still pretty young and not following LSU Baseball in those days as much as I follow them now, but I’ve certainly heard stories and see highlights of Todd Walker when he was at LSU.

Aaron Nola, his Friday night starts where a thing of beauty.
And I would have to put Alex Bregman second.

Blair Barbier and Brad Cresse. Skip Bertman baseball camp was something I looked forward to every year thanks to those guys.
