LSU will be represented tonight by Ron Brooks playing with the San Diego Fleet at 7:00 on CBS.

Louisiana will not get to see him play.

Tomorrow if you get the CBS Sports Network you will get to see 8 former Tigers play when Memphis plays Birmingham at 3:00.

The Alliance of American Football is kicking of its inaugural season this weekend. It’s an eight team league is giving players chance to showcase their talents to coaches and scouts. Most of the guys have spent time on NFL rosters and are looking to be back to the pros.

Pro football Hall-of-Famer Mike Singletary is the head coach of the Memphis Express and he has 8 former LSU Tigers on his roster:

I’ve seen a bunch of twitter comments saying how this league is a chance for them to get back in the NFL but honestly...if you’ve already played at the highest level and didn’t make it...what makes people think the AAF is gonna help? I’ve seen people call the AAF the NFL reject league.
