First of all, it's called the hog call. If you've grown up doing it your whole life, like I have, there is nothing odd about it, although I do recognize its uniqueness.

Aren't cheers supposed to annoy opposing fanbases? Believe me, LSU fans' chants and cheers at War Memorial are just as annoying to me as the hog call is to yall.

If you were able to remove yourself from being a Tiger fan, and put yourself in the shoes of a Razorback player, you would realize how cool it would be to have the whole crowd doing the hog call at fever pitch as you're waiting to run through the "A" at the beginning of the game. Since it's so weird, shrill, and loud, I'm sure it does somewhat affect the psyches of opposing teams who are trying to stay focused in a hostile environment.

Basically, :dealwithit:.

C'mon folks, doesn't anyone here have any imagination? I promise if you grew up a Razorback you'd realize the goosebumps that Hog call conjures up.

I've been tipsy in bars all over the country and called the Hogs quite a bit. In Boston there was about six of us in this Southie pub, which was packed. We talked our friend (a local) to join us in a Hog call. We got alot of strange looks, but after we finished, we got a huge round of applause. I figured they had no idea what we were even doing. But this was just a couple of years after Nolan's B-Ball team won the NC and most of 'em said they recognized it immediately.

It may be annoying to ya'll, but it sure is fun when you've got a stadium full of drunken Hog fans whooping it up.

That brings back nightmares of one year in Lil Rock. I was staying at the band's hotel.

I was awakened about 5 a.m. to what I first thought was wailing. It turned out that once I was fully awake, it was the pleasant sound of "Pig Sooie."

I had hogs in the room next to me.

They suck. They have that cheer and "It's another Arkansas First Down."
