I personally think that in 2 years, the Ford/Calhoun combo, could be just as good as Auburn's Cadillac/Brown

a blend of power and speed

I have reservations about Calhoun ..I want to see it workout for him at RB before I believe it with my own two eyes

He looks like a lighter version of Richard Murphy in terms of running between the tackles ..probably runs lower than Murph but I just am not sold he is going to be one who can be effective running north-south in the SEC

we'll see

Lache steps in front of him on the depth chart the day he walks on campus if he signs at LSU IMO

calhoun without a doubt

he's like 175 lbs

keiland is like 50 lbs heavier, so it would be mind-numbing for him to be faster than calhoun

Ford is alot more like Ronnie Brown....a power back with deceptive speed

Calhoun is like a smaller version of Williams

ronnie brown was a 235 lb RB with 4.35 speed and great receiving ability

mike ford is like 205, like caddy, and isn't a true burner, like caddy. both are great natural runners though and are both hard-nosed

I agree Ford is more like Brown ..but not quite as fast

I don't see the Calhoun-Cadillac comparisons though ..Calhoun is super lite

Oh yeah. SlowFloPro is the only reason I come to the rant. He's like an even less accurate version of Mel Kiper Jr. He's obsessive and idiotic but he confidently delivers his opinions as fact. You have to respect that.

if somebody linked up your terrible threads it would take 2 weeks to do

who else told the Rant "Lee is the truth" after that Auburn game where he threw a horrendous pic to their DE and clearly had mild success against a far-less-than-vintage Auburn defense?

King ranter

everyone was behind lee

lee wasn't nearly as bad as the rant likes to lead on. we were out-manned due to a mediocre defense and we had to rely on an RS frosh QB who was not ready yet to lead our team

didn't he throw 16 TDs as a RS freshman who didn't play the entire year?

he ran the play and they sniffed it out. it was a bad playcall and bad execution by everyone

ah ok i knew a 16 was in there. 13 TDs for a RS freshman who had to split time isn't bad for LSU

and after the interception, the return isn't on the QB. 3 or 4 of those pick 6s involved defenders weaving in and out of the offense trying to tackle them

that pass to Auburn's DE was a beauty. He really looked like an All-SEC candidate there

and more pics, including 7 taken to the house ..probably single-handedly took the heart out of our team when he failed against Bama ..if we have any QB with a pulse that day we win that pivotal game and the season is probably different

Not to mention he set the tone in the UGA game with a pic 6 right off the bat

quote:

he ran the play and they sniffed it out. it was a bad playcall

yeah...smart throw there ...brilliant to lob it up to their DE instead of taking a sack

that is the most positive slant I've ever seen somebody put on something that was so bad

It's like how blind Bush supporters were in his final year in office
