Judging by stats and arm strength Myles is the guy, numbers don’t lie.

Except they do lie. I’ve been a Cowboys fan my whole life and statistically Tony Romo is one of the best QBs ever, when in fact, he sucked.

I just said that about the stats because so many say Myles should be the starter because of his stats but he is not the better QB

Dude you need to relax. Your post might be the most unnecessarily negative thing I've read on here in a long time

Whatever.

It’s clear this guy has an agenda and he is trying to justify it by telling everyone he’s a coach.

And I’d feel the same if he came in saying Myles should start.

His opinion is as worthless as yours or mine.

The coaches will pick the starter no matter what this high school coach says or no matter what the idiots here who think they can analyze film think.

And whoever the LSU coaches pick will piss off half the people here and they won’t be able to contain themselves the first time that QB throws an incomplete pass.

Memphis Tiger

So you think I am an agent hahahahaha

Dude, i grew up and played football at Walker high and I now coach High school football at a rural school. I’m am so sorry I hurt your feelings by posting my option like thousands of others and that I misspelled Myles name. Please forgive me for my mistake.

I do feel like I know more about football than the average fan be use I have coached high school ball for over a decade and played the game longer than that.

Not a running threat you say??? He got hurt last year on a running play that he gained positive yards. Myles is the qb and it’s not even close to what this fricking board wants to think. Max will be a great an season after next if Nuss or Howard doesn’t beat him out but just stop with all the god damned Max vs Myles post.

In seriousness to your point...I trust Myles much more to step up into the pocket and make the throw down the field than Max. Max would scramble around and either pick up 8 yards with his legs or dump it down and LSU has to go for it on 4th down.

I get we are splitting hairs, but at this point at least LSU has TWO good options. I have seen MANY lean years where they have ZERO.

Doesn’t mean you know shite about the LSU QB situation.

Again you’ve made up your mind that the guy should be Max and just because you are a coach we should all shut up and agree with you.

I don't care who the QB is, but I think it is weird that you would pick a guy based onone rarely occuring situation: 3rd and 17.

What if we pick him based on the most ordinary 3rd down distance: 3rd and 5?

I have an idea. Why don't we just let the coaches pick the starter, and we can all cheer for whoever it is.

I think Brennan will do great. He needs time. With the sample we got he was impressive, but I saw room to grow. I saw passes he wish he could have taken back and people he missed. Only time will tell.

Out of the two QBs, which one would be able to come close to making the play Burrow made on 3rd and 17?

Realistically? Neither

so you would base your decision on one play made by the #1 pick and Heisman winner ?

Now we know why you're a High School coach

The man said it was his opinion that Max should start. What is wrong with that ? Some of ya'll are wound up way too tight. I don't know who the better QB is, but I think Johnson would win more games, but again that is an opinion. I hope I made no grammatical errors, if so I am sorry in advance.

I am no expert, but think he will start the season. Who knows what will happen. I have no idea what to expect from the team this year. I think they could be great, but we will see.

It's already too late for him to enter the transfer portal. Doesn't matter because I'm glad he will remain as the backup to Max Johnson before transferring out early next year.

As he can't afford to miss the spring practice with his new team if he hopes to impress the scouts enough to make it to the NFL.

No he is not. He may be a slightly marginally better passer relative to Max, but at the same time, Max's full package is far better than Myles' full package.

I mean look at the Missouri game where all you Myles' supporters like to cite his stats. Not only couldn't Myles convert a third down if his life depended upon it but he also couldn't score with a first and goal on the one yard line when the game was on the line.

Meanwhile, had Max Johnson been in the game, as opposed to Myles with the ball on the one yard line goal to goal, Max would have scored on first down.

Should we dump TDP then as well to? Because 2 of those downs were runs by TDP and he failed to score.
