. I don't trust him in a game like the BCSNCG. That performance yesterday is a scary thought.

I highly doubt the coaching staff will "put the game on his back." ST's, defense and turnovers will be the difference, as usual.

For the next month you'll hear the talking heads of ESPN say how Bama will be prepared this time and will defeat LSU like they "should have" on Nov. 5th. Miles and this special team will take all that and shove it up Bama's Gump arse on Jan. 9th in front of 100K screaming Coonass faithful!

100% confident here!

you do realize the speed option was basically the only thing that worked for us against them the first time?

smashing it up the middle gets nowhere against Bama, so then yes it comes down to JJ being able to pass

You do realize that you don't even know if LSU will have to pass the ball more than 5 times to win the game right? What worked the first time was the team, offense, defense, and special teams.

I am. But the delusional Gumps will never, never, NEVER acknowledge its loss. They will have selective memory and make excuses forEVER. I don't want to play them. They don't deserve it. They haven't acknowledged they lost the first time.

trust me i hope we win more than anything, i'm just trying to look at it objectively and not as a complete homer

hopefully the option can still be as effective this time around as i think we will still struggle running it right at them or anything worth a damn in the passing game

Hoping like hell we win, but doubtful with Jefferson based on what I witnessed in the Georgia dome last night.

unfortunately not confident at all

Bama will be much better prepared for the option and I have no faith in JJ being able to beat them in the air

He couldn't do it the first time around...

You are putting so much emphasis on one facet of the game. Do you not believe in the playmakers we have against Bama?

QB will not matter, most likely. I highly doubt Miles will require the QB to carry the team in this game.

I am confident that LSU will have the advantage over ANY team in the NCAA.

I am 100% positive that we did not win at BDS this yr. Bama felt pity on us and gave the game away.

The same will happen in N.O. for the NCG. Bama never loses. They only beat themselves.

And I just got an image in my head of SM99 w/ some puppet strings tied to McCarron all the while making McCarron slap himself in the face.

With our QB situation...not very.

JJ has proven to be a one-dimensional player whose only success has come via the option. A terrible decisionmaker with poor pocket awareness and a bad arm, its unlikely his lone option (the option) will generate success against Bama.

Beating Bama again will require us to move the football. Neither QB is capable of facilitating such.

In defense and special teams we must trust. Again.

eta: I'm a severe pessimist when it comes to LSU football.

well yea i think a lot of emphasis should be put on being able to move the ball effectively and score some points

sure our defense and special teams will be big keys to the game but still takes the offense being able to put some points on the board. I have a feeling Saban will not be as conservative this time around on offense and it will take more than 6 pts in regulation to win

27-10 LSU mercy knees start 4 min mark,

Lee gets real time and produces on a series or 2.

JJ plays well

Hilliard and Ford each get 100 yards
