I think I was easily one of the biggest Miles defenders on TD. I didn't post on the rant a ton but most of my posts were in defense of Miles and/Or JJ.

Me... He is not perfect but is committed. He loves LSU way more than LSU loves him. 80% of the fan base are still in love with Saban.

before then, i was for him but always wondered if he was the right guy.

05 was 11-2, west title, and #5 in the nation...seemed kinda "right guy" material to me.

06 was 11-2, BCS bowl win, and #3 in the nation...seemed pretty "right guy" like to me.

07 was 12-2, SEC title, and BCSNC...how much more "right guy" can you get.

After those 3 best seasons in a row in LSU history, we had the RP/DC cluster bomb of 08.

Since that year, we finished #17, #8, and currently #1...again, seems pretty "right guy" like to me.

I wondered bout the guy coming to us from Okla St, but when he went 11-2, west title, and Top 5 from the get-go, I just decided to sit back, see what he could do, and enjoy the ride.

I'm glad I did!

I was skeptical after the UT loss in 2005. It wasn't til the Peach Bowl win that year that I began to accept him. However, after 2006 and 2007 I was sold and have never waivered since.

I was always supportive of CLM, was mad for a while after the Ole Miss debacle but got over it. Glad he's with us and not another Curly Hallman

Thick and thin...yep. It was tough to defend him after the Ole Miss deal but that one play didn't cost us the game.

Anybody who says they never wavered on les are either lying or were not payng attention.

he made some truly boneheaded moves that had to call his fitness as a head coach into question.

I've stuck by him but he's made his mistakes and I'm not afraid to (nor was I at the time nor will I be in the future) call him on it. That said I've NEVER wanted to fire him and I wouldn't trade him for any other coach out there. He is the best coach we've had since I've been a fan. I also don't hate Saban FWIW.

I have been pretty loyal sticking with him; however, I have even been disappointed and upset a couple of times. Mostly the UT game.

I'm IN!

Going thru the '90s was a gutting lesson in patience...Les is a piece of cake!
