the laughable part is those players gave more to lsu football than 99% of the posters on this site. it's amazing watching some sidewalk lsu fan claim that a sec title winning and all American player, isnt a tiger.

Eric helped LSU win the game of the century. He spent three years giving everything he had for the university. For this he was given zero cash, despite growing up with pretty much nothing. You can’t even put a dollar figure on what his contribution brought to the university.

Ya know, everyone goes in different directions after graduation. Everyone has their beliefs, but are not always in a position to express them. A college football player certainly falls in that group.
The guy was a great Tiger & that is what matters to me. Some former Tigers have made some much larger mistakes than disagreeing with a particular view or opinion. One in particular, lost a Heisman, was eventually reinstated & elected to the Hall of Fame.
Life is a team sport with players of different colors, backgrounds & religions. I raised my kids to be themselves, regardless of opinions.

Reid is a grown man and has every right to protest. I just think he's strayed way off course at this point from what he was originally protesting with kapernick. He's literally fighting with people wanting the same things as him such as Malcolm Jenkins, Jay-Z and Stephen A. He's mad at the NFL for supposedly blackballing he and kapernick, yet he's still making millions from the company he is angry with. The comments about the new facility were unnecessary as well. I'm glad Tyrann and Divinity pushed back against him.
