Let me educate a few of you silly nutsacks in here about football safety. The serious posters are exempt from my remark! You know who you are!

I've seen folks lose the use an eye on the field ... and I've had my own eyes gouged in the heat of the battle ... It's no phukking fun, let me tell you ... It ain't a funny event watching a man writhing in pain on the ground because he got gouged in the eye ... A man planning to go pro could lose his entire future with the loss of an eye ... How many one-eyed pros do you know

That leather helmet some guy posted was really cool ... reminded me of the one my daddy used in HS in the mid-fifties when he played against Billy Cannon ... that's before LSU came-a-calling and offered him a scholly in '56

The best thing I see nowadays are those visors and the technology just keeps getting better.

I wonder if Coach Miles has any plans to use these in significant numbers ...

reason ... we get eye injuries, broken fingers, etc with these facemasks used nowThe only drawback to visors is night games and vision ...

Someone post a cool pic of the newest visors being used in the pros, please!

When I first started reading this thread I thought it was a brilliant parody of the ridiculous sh*t that people rant about. But it looks more like Geaux9 was serious. About how a facemask looks.

I also hear that Corning has a new product that's almost indestructible ... I'd love to see the Tigers all decked out in these

Tinted visors are illegal in CFB except in the case of an injury exception. No reason the players couldn't wear clear unless it's a team rule not to.

Never noticed the facemask to be honest... However, the orange on the TN helmet is way off from the orange jersey. Looks horrible.
