Jacob Hester was the most reliable on a NC Championship team IMO. He is the best.

He played both ways his sophomore (or junior) season and was a serious Heisman candidate before he was injured and slowed down.

As a DB he was ALWAYS around the ball, hitting people hard and a serious punt return threat

I have been watching LSU sports since 1949. Football - Billy Cannon He played both ways and also held the SEC record in the 100 and the Shot at the same time.
Basketball - Pete Maravich He changed the way basketball is played.

Bowe was good but,IMO the best I remember was Dalton Hillard and or Kevin Faulk.
