frick that, I want Florida to barely beat them in the second overtime. Night time in the Swamp is going to be interesting for the Tide.

because we want to drink the blood of every man, woman, and child of tuscaloosa, and so we may destroy their team so that for the next 1,000 that not even a lizard will survive in bryant-denny stadiums. and they're in the west. Bammers

I say root for Bama, for this simple reason:
we all assume Bama is capable of beating us this year. Not that they will, but that they are good enough to.

SEC pride be damned, I was hoping Fla was gonna be down this year so we'd have a breather. If they can beat Bama, they also CAN beat us. I'd rather they be exposed (and give Bama a better game than they give us)

This is a fact, we still have to beat 'Bama to get to the NC.

We would not necessarily have to beat them though. Someone else could always knock them off, and LSU could theoretically be scott free to the SECCG. The earlier and more often that Bama loses, the better for LSU.

Florida, but mostly because I hate Bama and always hope for them to lose no matter who they play. Realistically, we will still have to beat Bama to win the West because it is highly unlikely that Bama will lose to anyone but Florida and/or LSU.

On the small off chance we lose in T-town we want them to be undefeated through the season and us to have that 1 loss. Gives us a chance of still making it to the NC Game. Granted, if we run the table it won't matter either way.

Are you suggesting that the BCS title game could possible include 2 SEC West teams? Sorry, but no.

You're an idiot. It's very possible. Not saying it's likely. But the computers are going to love us this year. And the voters aren't going to detract that much if we only have one loss at Bama and look strong everywhere else.

Remember, there is no rule against this. And it's not like the other BCS games where it's voted on by a panel.

I am an idiot for pointing out something you posted? Not going to happen. Boise will be undefeated (as will Stanford, Oklahoma, and/or a team from the ACC). A 1 loss Big 10 champ would even go ahead of the second place team in the SEC West. If Bama beats LSU, LSU's only chance at getting to the NCG is if Bama is not there. A loss in T-Town would likely drop an undefeated LSU team to around #8 with 2 games to go. That is a tough road to climb.

If Bama loses to FL and we lose to Bama there is 0 percent chance of us making it (assuming both teams win out from there.) If Bama goes undefeated at least there is some chance. It's not rocket science, it's math.

If Bama is undefeated, beats LSU and then loses to Auburn, LSU is fricked. If Bama loses to Florida, beats LSU and loses to Auburn, LSU gets to the SEC title game with a distinct shot at the BCS NCG. The BCS NCG will not have 2 SEC teams in it. So, regardless of whether Bama wins or loses tomorrow, the importance of LSU beating them remains the same.
