I'll be rooting for Alabama. Well coached teams with great defenses pitted against offensive powerhouses have always been misperceived by fans. The real oddsmakers never overlook great defenses and great coaching. Florida will be a touchdown favorite - no more. Ole Miss kicked LSU's arse by being more physical - the same way they beat Florida. They brought a ton of heavyweight licks to the Alabama game but still got outhhit in a classic line war.

Florida presents a huge challenge that would become unmanageable if Florida gets the afterburners lit early. Alabama's defense must hold off the Gators early to have a chance. Offensively Alabama must execute, consume clock, and put points on the board early. That scenario is what Alabama does best and creates the mismatch Florida most wants to avoid. Predictability is Florida's weakness. They use a thin playbook and depend on big plays from big playmakers. Alabama will have the right well disguised defensive scheme and enough muscle to stop Florida if they play well. A great defense can be as devastating as a great offense. The Longhorns defense will have Graham Harrell in therapy for the rest of his life. Tebow isn't very bright to begin with - having a great defense hitting him, harrassing him, and confusing him is what Saban has in mind. It's going to be interesting to see how it all plays out. Underestimating Alabama is silly - Florida is definately not going to - but you Geauxmers go right ahead. That's what you're best at - along with apathy and insecurity. You've won 2 national championships this decade and you're still acting like insecure babies. Les Miles is the perfect clown for the LSU job. LOL.
