Talking Lsu football with a cousin and friends and he says we had a Qb coach and o/c not a coordinator /qb coach not to far back but he can't remember his name. I don't remember us having a qb coach and o/c. Could be wrong though. My memory is usually pretty good when it comes to this sort of thing.

He must be talking about either Crowton or Ensminger. Either way, both of them are not all that great.

The last coordinator that we had who was truly good with QBs was Jimbo Fisher.

ETA: Also, your post is confusing to read...

Probably referring to Studrawa and Kragthorpe after he received his diagnosis.

ETA: I assume you’re asking when we last had a QB coach who wasn’t also the OC.

Kragthorpe was the QB coach, 2011-2012.

Here is a list:

Charles Pevey 1960-79 Quarterbacks
Lynn Amedee 1975-78 Quarterbacks
Bob Gatling 1980-81 Quarterbacks
Mack Brown 1982 Quarterbacks
Morris Watts 1983 Quarterbacks
Steve Kragthorpe 2011-12 Quarterbacks

Looks like Chollie Mac had 2 on staff from 75-78. Ensminger was a QB 3 of those years, must have really got coached up.

Mack Brown was the QB coach in '82, but wasn't the OC

One for Ensminger; one for Woodley?
