Don't Post if you can't handle the critics. I'm not disagreeing with you but you have to have thicker skin than what you're displaying.

Speights will be the most impactful transfer. He will have 100 tackles this year
I agree.
He will be all over the stat sheet.

I don’t think Pimpton redshirts. Sampson might but I lean towards not

Where is Swinson fitting in? He was a monster in the spring game but I haven't heard much talk about him since .
Kelly specifically mentioned Swinson in one of his press conferences. Basically said that he's too good of a pass rusher to keep off the field. He will likely be used as a pass rush specialist, coming in for 3rd down passing situations. And as the full time backup at Jack.

I don’t think Sampson will redshirt. All the other frosh wrs might but he’s ahead of all them
Parker and Brown were here in spring and Sampson is ahead of both of them now. That says a lot to me.
At worst, he’s the 6th wr. He’s not redshirting, it’s meaningless considering he’s likely a starter next year
Hilton hasn’t been healthy since his jr year of high school. I know he’s had a great camp but I’m not counting on a guy whose been hurt for 4 years

I don’t know how much he will play with Malik, BTJ, Lacey, AA and Hilton all wanting to eat alongside Taylor at tight end.
I mean he is around 7th in depth chart for looks and isn’t Parker the freshmen practicing punt returns. It’s definitely a good problem to have and is similar to running back room.
Only so many plays to go around.

Can you explain to me the difference between an edge/Jack and a defensive end, lol. Seems to be the same shite

You named 5 wrs then says he’s 7th on the depth chart

He’s in the 2 deep. I don’t think he’s redshirting just my opinion. 5 wrs are gonna play every game

Oh smarty let me break from what I said because you obviously rode the short bus and have foot and mouth syndrome.

2..)Lacey
3.) BTJ

Pay CKOSE ATTENTION YOU DUMB arse
6.) Taylor.

Maybe I sure hope he does we got a steal by getting him early, he’s not WAY better than his brother right this second, but he’s faster and a better athlete at this stage, potentially better, but don’t devalue one at the expense of the other- just be glad we got both - damn strong football players

Exactly and he is the 6th option maybe, I’m not sure if he’s ahead of Parker or Brown at this point , but if the 5 veteran players are healthy with Taylor and the 4 other tight ends they brought in,I don’t see how he gets much playing time.

I think Edge (rusher) and Jack are the same thing. Basically a stand-up defensive end. On the other side you have a more traditional strong side defensive end. SDE is typically a run stopper, bulky defensive end.
Edge/Jack = pass rusher
Defensive End = run stopper

Yeah I thought so, I wonder what they will call it next, it started out as edge, now it’s a jack. All that positiion is a tweezer year of a defensive end and linebacker. Basically an oversized Linebacker that is too small to be an end. I think it’s kind of stupid, just live up with 2 tackles and 2 ends with 3 linebackers, but now they have 5 dbacks including what ever the hell a nickel back. To me playing 3 safeties and 2 corners will get them pounded on by a physical running team.

I like West too, but it is obvious he is not as talented as his brother

Don’t tell some of these geniuses on here that, they will tell you only 5 WR’a will play and that Sampson is 6th on depth, then call you stupid for saying he’s the 7th option in regards to looks , including Taylor without even including running backs, so you can say he’s the 8th option at catching one of Daniel’s 20 completions each game, so yeah if everyone stays healthy, the guy will redshirt. I don’t get what sone people think, players like Chase and Jeffers didn’t do nothing as freshman and I don’t think any of these guys will ever be on that level with someone as good as Joe slinging it around.

I think originally a Jack was an inside LB playing stretched out wide to where you more or less had two outside linebackers playing the edge, at least one of whom was coming hard for the QB. In it's evolving usage it generally refers to a big LB/small DE hybrid who may play standing up or hand down but I don't think that was the original meaning. If there's a more specific definition I'd be interested in knowing it as well. The usage is kind of all over the place.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels that way
