Appl St QB would starter over both of them at this stage.

I don't see why Jevan Snead would start over Lee or Hatch. He has the same amount of experience as both.

Good thing all Crowton really needs is an efficient QB who minimizes mistakes, not a JR.

Dude is like 5'10" and 175. He wouldn't last 2 games as starter. shite, he probably wouldn't make it through practice. No f-ing way.

thats true

But can Hatch/Lee be another Flynn

flynn maturing behind JR helped him a lot
If he started as a freshman , it wouldn't have been pretty

So Lee can never be better than flynn?

I think Lee can be better, but i'm certainly disappointed in his progress. He should have the QB job locked up with Hatch being his competition.

Whether Lee ever starts is going to be the question. The competition is going to be pretty tough the next few years.

Quite underestimating Lee. You're in for a big surprise.

Lee will be the starter before the Auburn game barring injury. He has had to overcome some things and appears to be on his way.

thats why i think Lee should get the start vs Appl St. he should get 90% of the snaps the 1st 3 games in preparation for the Auburn game.

No, just saying the level of talent being recruited for the position is very high. If Hatch performs well this year, then Lee will ride pine. This will allow Jefferson a whole year of learning the system, thus making the competition even greater during the spring. Oh, and Russell Shepard joins the mix next year. If Lee is going to grab the reins, the time is last week.

It wouldn't surprise me if Hatch "starts" the App State game with Lee actually taking more snaps, and then taking over from there.

That is a question that has no answer. How could you determine who is better when they have never started a game?
How many SEC quarterbacks could have started for LSU when Tommy Hodson was a Red Shirt Freshman. He made All SEC that year so apparently there weren't any.
