We really don’t know about Frey

Mayers is likely gone. His velo alone will get him drafted since he was halfway able to control it down the stretch.
Cowan still has eligibility. I’m sure he can get drafted, but his reliance on a single off speed pitch doesn’t help him. He showed signs of being able to diversify more in his last appearance, but he could use another year. If he developed a better fastball with a little more velo, and the slider we saw last week, it would help his pro stock. But he may also be ready to move on.
Sherrin could be a starter if he’s good coming back from injury. He’s talented.
Fontenot, Ware and Benge will either be back or in the portal.

There’s no reward, he’d lose a couple hundred thousand dollars by coming back. Regardless of how he played or what position he could learn as a Sr

So sad that so many underclassmen leave for the pros rather than staying and playing at college for full four years and earning a degree. Coaching and roster development and management would be much simpler.

Many instances where doing this helps draft stock

In the NIL era, he isn’t losing $$
He’d be paid fairly well to return
