What's he guilty of? Insubordination? the Board called the fricking NCAA.how frickin stupid and THEY wanted him to be there with No legal representation, whilst they wanted their legal counsel there. got a bunch of dumb arse attorneys on the board I would say....I wouldn't have met them either

People need to stop thinking Wade is suspended because of what is on the wire taps and any leaks from the media. He is suspended solely for not speaking to his supervisors regarding the case. He is rightfully not speaking with them and I am not saying the administration is right for the way they handled it but he was being insubordinate to his bosses and they suspended him for that. They have that right even if you don’t agree with it.

No he isn't. He is on tape talking to a third party, not associated at all with the player, about a supposed "damn strong offer" which may or may not have been made in fact. We don't know that Wade was not trying to get Dawkins into a conversation about buying players by bringing up the Smart reference. It is possible that Wade was working with the FBI and doing their bidding here. If this is the case, it's certainly understandable that the Feds would not want Wade talking about his role in this investigation. This means his reference to the damn strong offer was simply a lie to entrap Dawkins.
The Feds are in control of this, NOT the LSU administration and THEIR priorities take precedence in a court of law. For Alleva and company to try to assert differently and insist upon getting in the way was an incredibly stupid thing to do. Their stupidity is magnified by the fact that they cleared Smart to play after finding no problems with his recruitment process. This then boils down to their ineptness and arrogance being the cause of the disaster going on. LSU athletics will be paying a heavy price for this fiasco for years to come. FIRE. THEM. ALL.

LSU is correct in trying to protect their program — from the NCAA’s hammer. That’s why they’re dealing with the NCAA, because our coach is on tape talking about some very damaging and program-altering stuff.
Really hard for me to understand why our fans don’t get this. Wade put us in this predicament, and our admin is just trying to minimize the inevitable damage.
