It's entrapment Gray. Wade was right to tell them to pound sand. Now they need to just let him coach. Let bygones be bygones. Put this one behind us and move on.

why does this clown show administration need to question him
Because something Wade did might have the program in hot water. They need him to guarantee that this won’t be the case. If he can’t guarantee compliance, he can’t coach here.

Anyone who doesn’t understand this is retarded.

Why am I not surprised that you want Wade out? It's the same cast of characters that kiss the ground the football coach walks on.

Yeah that’s how boss/employee relationships work.

True! But LSU did not make Will Wade. Will Wade put LSU back onto the basketball map.

Are you looking forward to next season without Will Wade?
I doubt you will have any trouble finding a parking spot or a seat.

Its insubordination. It can't be entrapment unless the other party suborns an illegal act. How is meeting with your boss illegal?

Of if you do have contact with a sleaze ball don't say trap words on the phone when said sleaze ball may be under surveillance!

Of course Wade would not know that for sure. But when you are dealing the the scum thinking like a mobster pays off. Those guys are always paranoid about something and never talk on the phone.

Hide your identity and set up a meeting face to face behind an abandoned building or in the middle of nowhere. That is how things are communicated in the under world. Want to get shady??!!! Got to pay the underworld code of non ethics.

The NCAA requested they be present

We don’t know that

Even so, LSU is not under any investigation so if they did request a seat at the table, say no.

Then that makes four out of the last five who have done so.

We can find a coach who is good and can show up to work without legal baggage. Bye, Willy.

Why would I want Wade out?

How does Wade's refusal to meet with his boss have anything to to with football?

Give your tinfoil hat a rest.

LSU is attempting to do their own investigation. This is how you show institutional control. If you tell the NCAA no then they are definitely showing up

Without question.

Not at all. But, I'm also not a fan of LSU being on many years of serious probation and setting this program back for a long, long time. Is it a certainty? Of course not, but I don't think the administration can take that gamble.

I guess I'm a sucker because I still feel like there's a way to have Wade back next season if there are no more wiretap conversations to come out. I think they want Wade back or he would have been fired already.

Reported where? I think I’ve read every article on this. If I missed that, link?

But that’s operating under the assumption that the ncaa shows leniency for compliance. That doesn’t happen.

Read their official site on institutional control. It’s definitely a thing. More importantly they can individually sanction coaches & staff members independently of the institution.

Alleva- Coach, that’s totally understandable and checks out with what our legal counsel has suggested. We support you and will re-evaluate after the trial

Or

Alleva- coach, that was dumb as frick. I am sorry but I’ve got to do something to try and get in front of this shitstorm you have caused by being slimy and dumb.

If we act on this, who knows we may keep the NCAA from planting their foot 4 foot up our asses.

You see, I have a lot of programs being led by people that have not been caught discussing illegal activity. I would like to keep it that way.

Got any evidence this happened, common sense not what you wish happened says legal counsel would suggest just the opposite. Isolate Wade from the department until things are sorted out to prevent possible long term damage to the school. Winning a basketball season is irrelevant to protecting the viability of the school.
