If any LSU player is arrested for second degree battery, they are gone.

Lesser charges will be dealt with differently.

Give Les the benefit of the doubt. He knows damn well his own prior precedent.

Will be interesting to see what unfolds here. If you discipline the black starting quarterback, all the bleeders and program defenders will come out of the woodwork screaming racism too. That's an established fact of life.

Unfortunately in the world we live in, race will probably be some consideration. On one side or another. Some people can't get beyond it.

Not sure but Thomas Parsons used to sneak people on the reg at reggies all the time. Not sure if that's the reason he's a washup.

There's a big difference between the starting quarterback and a backup offensive lineman though.

REALLY??? Is the QB a player ON the TEAM??

Bobby Bowden had some great quotes about this. I will give the man this, he was honest about it. Position, effectiveness and experience factor into a coaches decision. Just the way it is, even if it is wrong.

Your points are valid. Why the hell would Les risk an Ohio State situation. I don't see what is so hard to understand. Its not worth the sanctions and trouble and the double standard is JJ is allowed to play.

That's fine and all but that's not the world we actually live in.

That shouldn't matter.

Why would we get sanctions?

Sanctions is the wrong word. And I have no idea what I'm actually trying to say with that

He would have to be a better QB for it to matter.

Well regardless of his problems on the field, we lost two games last year in the SEC and he's returning as a senior so you probably give a bit more leeway in this instance.

What race were the victims of this crime? What race was the OL that got kicked in 07? Racism works both ways, and as it's been explained to me, being more lenient to one race over another is as racist as being more harsh on one race or the other -- however you chose to frame it.

My point? Race won't play a factor in Miles' decision.

people keep talking about prior precedent as if this is a court of law or something.

IMO if they are guilty of a felony and fighting not in self defense, they need to be booted from the team. I don't care who they are.

Kyle Anderson was a waste of scholarship and Les was probably looking to get rid of him. He would have never played.
