Then Matt Mauck and Skyler connected and the rest is history.

This game began along with 2001 Tennessee are building blocks for where LSU is today as a program.

'18 before Bama. Odell was there, Shaq might've been there, man pre-game the energy in that place was electric.

Bama had scored a td on the first drive of every game leading up to us. We stopped them on the first drive and forced a punt. The crowd was as loud as ever….

Then it all went downhill from there.

It was a downed punt. The last play of the January 2004 National Championship game.
I was in the stadium.

Next was Warren Morris which I was watching on television.

Seriously it wasn’t a game but we(family & I ) we were headed to baseball game, my son was 7 at the time and never been in Tiger Stadium. So we looped through on a Friday just to show him the outside of the stadium. Closed duh, but there’s a cleaning crew coming out and I shouted at one, hey you reckon I can just show my son the inside for a sec, he said let me see, walkie-talkied his boss in a golf cart, boss came up in golf cart, I slipped him a 20spot. My son had a nerf football and we played football for 15 minutes on the field and the guy took pics. We were the ONLY swinging dks in the stadium. So surreal and amazing, it felt like it was a dream and the biggest place in the world. I get chills thinking about it.

Beating Florida 28-21 in 97 and running on the field will always be my number 1.
