You didn't know where we came from in 2013 when LSU played a crippled Ole Miss team ..and lost.

Auburn, A&M...they're done. Florida is purely overrated. Average at best. Dak is gone at MS State.

If you don't see Ole Miss as a sure threat, you either don't know football or you're a young guy who's hung up on the fairly recent tags applied to teams. Clemsoning?

I want this to happen as much as you, Choctaw.

If it does, I'll kiss your arse on Canal Street.

Night. I so hope I'm wrong. Ole Miss just unnerves me. I lived in MS for over 20 years. Just can't see them rising up against us, so maybe I'm too proactive.

Dude. Hollow knows football. Ole miss is an on the rise program. They have recruited well and freeze is a good coach. Qb play is very important in a league this good. The rest of the west will be down next year imo. Auburn will be better next year as will fla.

I don't know football more than many on here...I just tend to knee jerk a little less and weigh everything. You were probably being sarcastic I know. Its no secret that ole miss has created a group much like the rec...and it is paying dividends on some big names....the difference is that the top programs get balanced classes loaded from top to bottom...OM is top heavy...and it is reflected in depth. They are capable of beating anyone on a given day but lack the overall depth to win a championship. So can LSU lose to OM...obviously...but they aren't the main comp for the sec west. LSU ain't losing to OM this year...it will be like 2014 again....minus the LSU miscues and LSU will be favored. Hell they were undefeated in 2014 and we had been beaten soundly...twice...yet we were only 3 pt dogs.

Dukke, I understand. Hollow knows football. We just disagree. No harm.

I played QB at Bastrop, played QB at Southern Miss when we were good, teammates with Ray Guy and Jeff Bower, though I would wind up at strong safety. We just disagree on some things. Maybe my paranoia for Ole Miss is too strong. But they're coming.

Ole Miss and Bama I believe. Shea Patterson should be great for them.

No I am not being sarcastic. You do know the game. As do I even though most on here think I don't just because I make. Some predictions that are wrong. As of now there is no telling who will be favored over who and it depends on how teams are doing week to week. On paper, imo lsu should be preseason number 1. But that's why they play the games.....

I live in Madison ms. I hear the shite daily trust me. Bottom line is that OM isn't close to having 8-10 guys go in the top 2 rounds...and 11-12 overall. I expect tiger stadium will be rocking again like it was in 2014....but LSU will be a 5-7 pt favorite (currently 4). I firmly believe this will be a 2011 type season if our special teams improves. D Jackson should return punts...and while I will be in minority, I wish #7 would return kickoffs in big games....may cost him a carry or two but he came on strong at the end of 14 returning kickoffs. Plus...I think a couple big returns puts him over the edge in the heisman. Don't be shocked if this happens.

I went and watched bastroo play evangel in 2008.....they had a DL that would play for LSU that year...josh downs. Also went to several wm games that year, watched mingo against Michael ford. Ford broke a long run once and mingo actually ran him down right before he scored.

This unfortunately. I don't see us being favored over Bama and I really don't care because I want them undefeated when they play the Tigers.

I really like Jackson returning punts. We need someone who can change the game.

I also think Taylor will break out as a receiver, Can Chark make a splash?

You are an idiot. That is what I predict. And its the same thing I predicted last year. I hope we win every game. But we do not have a quarterback. We will mirror image last season.

I don't want everyone to agree. I would prefer rational debate. I have seen people predicting 5 losses next year...that is absolutely trolling. You cannot tell me with this amount of experienced future high NFL high draft picks, that LSU will lose 4 or 5 games. As I said...he did that twice in 11 years. .and with two highly inexperienced teams....say what you will but he is usually pretty damb strong with a team like this.

Agree. Anyone saying 5 losses is really just saying they hate Miles. We are capable of running the table and playing for it all this year but my lack of faith in Miles leaves me thinking we lose to Bama and Arkansas

Unless the bookies are trying to give away money (which is rare), we will be underdogs to Alabama regardless of the circumstances.
