So we have one of the most talented, experienced teams we have had under miles, and if not the most talented, definitely top 3....yet we are going to lose 4 regular season games, something we have only done twice in 11 years under miles, and both were very green teams. Yes, makes a lot of sense.

They return 4/7 on the front seven and 7 total starters on defense. I would say that's most

Bama had 7 seniors starting on defense and Robinson who declared as a Jr.

Lmao, you people kill me with ole miss. This is one of the most talented, experienced teams that miles has ever had, while OM lost their best two players by far on offense...and a few on defense...and Vegas has us much higher than them....but they are going to be favored in tiger stadium...lol....

I have agreed with you in plenty of posts and in different threads... I guess you just don't want to admit it. Which I really don't care about... Go back and look at this thread.... Golook at your draft thread... You cheery pick on here more than anyone I have ever seen... But hey.. That's YOUR opinion... That's what makes this place great... If wee ALL saw what ou want us to see and think like you do, This place would be boring.......

I don't want everyone to agree. I would prefer rational debate. I have seen people predicting 5 losses next year...that is absolutely trolling. You cannot tell me with this amount of experienced future high NFL high draft picks, that LSU will lose 4 or 5 games. As I said...he did that twice in 11 years. .and with two highly inexperienced teams....say what you will but he is usually pretty damb strong with a team like this.

If we drop three games again then a change has to be made. Even the most adamant sunshine pumper will have to agree.

There are some who would defend this coaching staff to the end. It's a playoff appearance or bust for Miles in my book. We have the pieces in place. There are absolutely no excuses to be had. Barring some catastrophic injuries, we shouldnt lose more than one game...if that. But if we manage to screw this up somehow and drop the three games you suggested, there will be excuses. Thats the nature of the beast where pumpers are concerned.

I agree. I hope I see an 'all business' attitude from him this off season and season. No ESPN spots, no quirky being funny bullshite., no fund raising stunts, or appearances on shows where he is made a clown.

Time to get reelz.

If everything falls into place and with some luck [ALL teams need some luck] LSU should win 10 games without a problem.. I am not as worried about Bama as most on here... The Ole Miss love on here is baffling... We have them at home and it is usually a tough game no matter where it is... FLA worries me more than any team on the schedule...

I agree completely. I never found his act funny like a lot of people he has endeared himself to. This is a business...act like it. I'm not suggesting he should act like a stoic dickhead like Saban, but a straight answer every now and then to a direct question would be refreshing. Miles needs to keep his head down and pay attention to the details this off season.

Arky worries me the most just because where they fall on the schedule. But, if LSU takes care of business prior to that...it won't matter if they win or lose.

at the risk of being labeled a miserable nega with no life.....I dont think 10 wins is gonna get it done. Playoffs or bust.

These threads always bring out the "LSU fans" that mysteriously disappear after a win but double their post count after a loss

I don't think that makes any difference whatsoever.

What matters most is he allow an offensive game plan that keeps the d guessing, and makes them pay when they sell out to stop #7.

Definitely a lot of lurkers hiding in the bushes. I saw one guy that said miles should be gone if we go 14-0 but lose in the championship game...and he meant it I'm sure.

10 games is a reasonable number.. It could go higher or lower. But They still play in the SEC and its tough week in and week out...There is NOT a more talented team in the SEC than LSU next year...FACT.. But a lot of things need to happen for them to win even 10 games....

Ain't no way we'll be favored over bama. And I hope I have to eat these words because that would mean we finally have a complete passing game to go along with LF and company.

Maybe if he's more focused on coaching, it may garner results. Its ok to be that way when you're winning, but not when Arkansas is kicking your arse. looks bad, Just my opinion.

I totally agree.....AND.....stick with this plan the WHOLE season and see how it plays out. I dont think, at this point, we could be much more inept on O (outside of LFs heroics). If miles could do this...showing a definite willingness to implement change......most of the fan base that wants to tar and feather the man would shut up. If we lost some games, at least we could say well it wasnt because we werent mixing it up on O.
