Where's the love for Mays?

From all of the posts and threads I've read, Smart has been getting almost all of the praise. I know Ja'vonte was the obvious MVP of the game, but Skylar quietly had 23 points and played the ENTIRE game. I realize Smart basically did too besides a minute on the bench, but Mays didn't get rest outside of halftime.
Mays played great on-ball and help defense as usual. I know he didn't have a great shooting game, but he still shot 33.3% from deep and hit a clutch 3 to tie the game with a little over a minute left in regulation. He also had some great drives that didn't fall but drew fouls to help get us into the bonus, hence the 10 points from the line.
Great game overall by our Tigers but wanted to give a huge shoutout to our backcourt for balling out

Mays is a gym rat and will do anything to help his team. Thankfully, his decision making has improved. Not a chance we’re within 20 today without him.

Mays was phenomenal in the 1st half and played a hell of a game.

He did play well, overall. He, Smart and Kavell, with his offensive rebounds and put backs, were the difference in the game.

They carried the team together today. I think everybody has grown to expect a steady performance from Mays. He just gets it done. Smart has had his ups and downs, but is a phenom - this was Smart's coming out party, putting everyone on notice that he can throttle it when he's locked in.

I got love for mays..... Always have. Even last year when you couldn't finish anything at The rim. Dude has always been a grinder. 4 years players who do it the right way..... I always miss those guys the most.

Mays was feeling it tonight. At one point he made a sick move to drive down the lane for a lay up. After the shot I noticed he did a 4 4 with his right hand. Did anyone else see this? He had his best friend out there with him tonight no doubt. He played so smooth.....so proud of Mays, he is doing all of this while studying pre-med. Tiger through and through

While Waters and Reid may be the two most talented players, Mays is the heart and soul of this team and the glue that keeps everything together.

I Mays!
Thank goodness he's a Junior. (poking fun at myself)

He had 2 bad turnovers in OT that we had to overcome that I think may have soured some folks on his overall game, which was great.
I’m still shocked we won without Waters and Reid basically being a 6’11” ghost the entire game. Great, great team win.

I saw it. He does that quite often. Wonderful young man, who is still hurting.

Last year I was guilty of not fully appreciating this dude.
Such a dumbass I was...this kid has blossomed into a fantastic player and oh btw carries a 4+ grade average in fricking pre-med.

Mays is my favorite player on this team.
When he gets into rhythm he shoots lights out.
