Are you just a troll? Seems reasonable to have Les at number three while giving a nod to one coach who is on the cusp of winning an NC his first year in the SEC and another who defeated Les with a vastly inferior team.
I don't think some of you can think past your own nose.

As far as success, I rank Miles #2, just behind Saban. As far as a good loser, I'd rank Miles #1, Richt #2, and Saban #14 (because of the way he threw all of the players under the bus after the Auburn game).

You don't understand this?
Or if all other 15 coaches become world-beaters, he could become #16. Or if the other 15 coaches all fall apart, he could be #1 forever. Or if he wins the next 3 national championships, he could rise. Or if Saban has a stroke, Miles could rise. Or if.....Or if.....or if....
You hold Miles (and 11 others) constant, and speculate about 2. Your statement is meaningless.

Anyone who has him out of the top three is a serious retard.

No way in hell Miles is ahead of Spurrier. Spurrier won an ACC Championship at Duke!

That's not what I implied but hey what difference does it make. I rank Les Miles behind Saban and Spurrier while acknowledging there are two coaches in the SEC with the potential to make waves.
Sorry if that's too much for you to absorb.

Top 3 for sure. Probably 2 if I had to pick.

I see Spurrier ranked ahead of Miles in several posts. Until Spurrier actually wins something, he belongs behind Miles. The only coach that has won more in the conference is Saban. Therefore, Saban is 1 and Miles is 2.

Only one (CNS) would win more games. And that's a maybe. That said, there is no coach on that list that I'd rather have coaching this team.
It's worth points to me to not have to go through what bama went through over the past two weeks, and every year at that.
I am a coach les miles fan, and I'm thankful for him being at lsu

Beyond that it doesn't matter
A coach in your "doesn't matter" category has his team in the BCSNCG

His national championship doesn't count?

Uh, spurrier has won plenty of titles and currently has his program about on par with lsus with less resources

so the kentucky and arky coaches in 2007 are better than les?

The SEC has two coaches who have won the SEC and played in the national title game more than once since 2009. Nick Saban and Gus Malzahn. Sure, Gus wasn't head coach in 2010, but are you really going to give Chizik all the credit? I could understand giving Cammy Cam all the love, but there is no Cammy Cam on this Auburn Tiger team.
There could be a good arguement for Saban, Spurrier, and Gus to all be ahead of Miles. I think as far as a career goes, Spurrier blows Miles out of the water. If you want to just look at current success, then you have to throw Gus in the mix because he is currently on a roll.
