They’re wrong on both counts. Lol
We have no “gun registry”. They were in possession of guns that were reported as being stolen. The weed was the icing on the big illegal cake.
So I wonder how much the DA got?

Where the frick are you from?
There's no firearm registry in Louisiana or Alabama.
In fact, I think there's only about four or five states that actually register firearms.

I represented a kid from Mississippi who was caught with the exact same situation in Florida. (Except the gun was not reported stolen.) I was lucky as hell to keep him from a felony conviction and out of jail.
