Liggins is a monster athlete as a dual-threat quarterback with a live, big arm. He has the appearance of a Daunte Culpepper and if he does not remain at QB at the next level we could see him as a tight end/defenisve end given his measuables and overall athleticism.

Logical: Red Shirt
Likely: Red Shirt pulled to run 7 option plays against Bama.

Depends how good he is (can he beat out the Randall and Rivers ... or at least Randall), but if he plays, it'll be for more than 10 plays.

That said, I think the whole "Les loves mobile QBs" thing is overblown.

Goal line QB a la Oklahoma last year? Put him in a single wing with Copeland and Hilliard and let the defenses try to stop it

I've thought about something like that, but seriously, do we need that? or do we need him to do that if he's basically gonna be an extra running back? just snap it to Spence and let the mauling ensue.

If he is the 3rd string wouldn't/ shouldn't he get some snaps. I see him in before Randall IMHO...

Short of season ending injury to Mett and or Rivers, look for the RS. Best long term move for program for 2013 - 2016.
