I'm going to bbva later this month to see the dynamo play Valencia. Should be a lot of fun, looking forward to seeing the new stadium in person.

I'm sure I will get slammed for this but to me soccer should be played a little more like arena football or hockey in America at least. First make field smaller so the ball isn't kicked around midfield for so long. Also have a wall to avoid the ball being kicked out of bounds. I don't really care if there is more scoring or not but think it would be far more interesting if more of the game was played around te goal also take some players off the field for 2 reasons one the field is smaller and other to creat more 1 on 1 opportunities. I know it won't happen but it is wishful thinking. Just because it's not number 1 in America doesn't mean it doesn't have a place in America and I do think they are very good athletes but quit trying to act like if people don't like it we must be racist ignorant rednecks that never gave the game a chance. Also just cause you dont understand the game doesn't mean it can't be interesting. I also know nothing about lacrosse but I have caught myself watching some games in the last week and truly loving it. Don't be shocked if for television anyway lacrosse doesn't pass soccer up soon

i would be shocked if this happens. The only reason soccer isnt as popular in America is because many people are too stubborn to even watch it because we did not invent it and our country does not dominate it

I was there too. I'm actually a Man-U fan, but mostly because of Ryan Giggs. Was really cool to actually see him play in person. Had a blast at the game.

I have tried to watch it mainly during Olympics and when beckham came over and just to slow for me. Most of the game is played to far from the goal to be interesting to me. Hockey, water polo, and lacrosse are all more interesting to me and only reason I believe this would be is because those games spend more time close to the goal as scoring treats.

Fixed. Soccer is actually very popular everywhere in America except here. Which is no surprise, really.
