It's not the fact that someone doesnt like JH.. Its the way you talk about him.
Saying he sucks, he should be fired, he is a POS...
Same situation as these JL haters act out, Its not well enough to just say I dont like him, they feel the need to degrade the man.
JH has given 25 yrs of his life to LSU, and some punk arse, geek fuking kids on internet come along and treat the man with ZERO respect.
IVe NEVER heard any LSU fan outside of this message board say JH needs to go... and I know plenty,. 99% of these people though are adults, so i suppose that explains it.
One again if you think Jim sucks, go to lsusports.net and search ringtones,,, there are aobut 20 JH calls onthere, and yall want somenone else?
Ill admit I am biased, I have had the pleasure to meet JH personally on 3-4 diff road football trips, the man is a CLASS act and should be treated with respect.

Hot Rod I do not miss your point and dont no where u get your 99% number approval for Jim but gotta think it has to be skewed. THe overwhelming number of LSU fans I know and many like I travel to away games and hear other announcers think he is and has been horrible. As far as him needing to stay since he has given his all to LSU for so many years do u not think Hallman, Dinardo, Laval and Brady gave their all? Should they have been allowed to stay because of this? NO they were below par and so is Jim. As far as calls I have one for you.

Good one Tigerdew I have been in Morgantown 6 months. I have been going to LSU games for 37 years and am from Baton Rouge and have lived in Houston the last ten years until 6 months ago. Newsflash for you there are tons of LSU fans in Houston and I stay in touch with many from Baton Rouge as well. There was these inventions called internet and phone u dont have to be in same room to stay in touch

I personally don't like him and I think it's time for him to retire, not get fired. If he stays, it won't be the end of the world and I really won't care. Honestly, I was just trying to rile up a few rantards earlier.

As far as him NEEDING to say I didnt say that at all, I just pointed out hes been here a long time and earned his keep.

It may not happen but it doesnt mean I have to pretend Jim is a good announcer. He obviously has no one evaluating his performance or lack of performance. Again I dont understand why anyone would have an issue with LSU replacing Jim to get a quality announcer. We havent had one in 28 years dont u think it is time we get one!!!!!
