That was 1949, a few weeks before my first game in Tiger Stadium. The game against UNC was the famous wet field game where the playing field had "accidently" gotten soak just before the game. Choo Choo could never get started on the wet field and the Tigers won. UNC won their conference that year - it was one of three conference champions LSU defeated that season
Thanks - my brother was attending LSU at the time and the family went down to that game. I remember them talking about the watered down field.
I was about ten years old. When I first saw the stadium, I thought they played on top of it and wondered if anyone ever fell off. My little mind could not comprehend playing inside a buiding.
I was awestruck at the whole enviornment. First time out of the piney woods for me.

First game was 1998 vs Kentucky. Tim Couch led them down the field and Kentucky won with a last second field goal. Was almost 6 years old and remember it like it was yesterday.
quote:This was the 2nd game I ever went to. I remember it rained from start to finish and stayed the entire time. My dad and uncle kept asking me if I wanted to leave but I insisted on staying and we watched the entire drilling. Awesome times.
when we got blown out by florida in the pouring rain. think it was 99. the score was 55- 10

1996 vs. auburn.
my aunt and i sat in billy cannons press box seats. before the game he signed a football for me that said "if you lose to auburn, no more tickets for you"
the biggest waste of talent in lsu history ran for 232, and mealy ran for another 107 and we lose by 3. i still don't know how
