Especially freshman. I used to take up for Jamarcus all the time, when after his freshman year, people were saying a lot of the same things about him that they are about Lee.

I see where youre coming from, but I don't think it's accurate when you compare lee to russell fwiw.

JR was the #1 overall draft pick.

I think Lee has become a better QB in the last season. In fact, I think he would shatter his previous record for pick 6's if given ample opportunity.

Note: I'm kidding, but how sad is it that I feel like I have to explain that in these Lee vs. JJ threads.

did he bang your mom or something? Sheesh! If he can overcome his problems, (like Lafell did 07 to 08) then why shouldnt he play?

If Miles had followed your advice, our best WR last year would never have seen the field.

Not the best example there.

Lafell got better as the season progressed. Late in the year he was stout.

Lee is looking good this Spring we're told, but he looked as bad vs. Ole Miss as he did vs. Appy State.

I'm not comparing their skills, just how they were treated by our fans.

I know and I could see that even during his freshman season. I got laughed at all the time, but I told everybody that he would be no worse than a top 10 pick and probably #1. They said he's too stupid, he makes stupid decisions, he stares down receivers, he can't read a defense, he's a statue, etc...--the exact same things they are saying about Lee. And Jamarcus got better--a lot better. Same could happen with Lee.

eta--I am in no way suggesting Lee will be a top 10 pick, just that he could wind up being a very good college quarterback.

Even if a miracle struck him and he did cant you see that JJ is a much better athlete and fits into our system better than JL. WTF do you have against JJ not playing? You need to quit bending over in front of JL and quit letting him stick it to you. Get over the fact that JJ is our QB and is much better.

JJ is our starter Miles said he is taking all the snaps with the first team.

RS will play wild tiger sparingingly.

Jl barring injury will not play.

When he plays?

Injury at the QB position is all but inevitable in the SEC

my thing with JL is that he did not get better as the season progressed.. if anything he got worse... whether you like it or not that is just a fact

so let me get this straight tojo...

when les was playing lee last year, you were saying:

"well, that's the coaches decision, don't question the coach!"

now, Jordan Jefferson is getting the 1st string snaps, and is quote by miles that if LSU had to play a game today, he would be the starter...

now you question the coaches decision?

there's not much consistency with that you know?
