Statements like "athletes throwing their weight around" turns a kid like Hill into a special class citizen who should be punished according to his size and level of fitness. I would argue that this is as unfair as letting football players off of the hook b/c they're football players.
My point was, you have to be one dumb a-hole to pick a fight with a kid like Hill. But ultimately, I don't think the law should create exceptions because the puncher happened to be a stud football player.
