When do the bowl game practices start counting for teams?

Basically, since Bama is done with their regular season, do any practices from now count as some of their 15 bowl practices?
LSU obviously doesn't have theirs count since they have the SEC CG, but this could be an advantage for LSU in terms of the BCS CG.

Good question. I only wish I knew the answer.

From your last game. Lsu gets an extra week of practice and bama gets an extra week to get out of shape.

This is why I don't mind the extra game, provided we 1: win and 2: come through it injury free.

Bowls only allow for 15 practices. So they can start practicing as soon as their season is over, however but can only 15 until whichever bowl game.

I've been wondering the same thing.
What are the NCAA rules concerning practice sessions for post season play? (ETA, I see it now, 15 practices)
It's clear that extra workouts are an advantage to all bowl teams heading into following seasons, especially when the staff stays mostly intact year to year. I can only imagine the four or five extra practices for SECCG'S are an advantage.
