When I moved from Lafayette to Gulf Shores. 6 months into it I quickly learned this fan base is HORRIBLE.

My first game, as a college student, I had to sit in the student section and watch Shaun Alexander gash us for eleventy billion yards. All of the hype and expectations from the pre-game chant, "FAULK...BAMA" quickly faded and then I realized that I had to make the long walk home pissed off that we couldn't stop a simple damn draw that Bama ran over and over again. I've hated those Gump bastards ever since.

1991 in TS. My dad and I went to the game and there was the loudest, trashiest 50-something year old female bama fan with a voice that sounded like sandpaper against asphalt.

I had a similar experience around the same time. I was wondering if it was the same person, but then realized there were probably hundreds there like that.

This lady was with a couple other Bama fans in the LSU student section. She constantly yelled, with as much Bama accent as you can imagine, "Go Baaaaaama," and "Rollllll Tiiiiiiiiiide!"

Students started brutally mocking her, but she was asking for it.

Don't really hate them. I make fun of them on a daily basis though, as I'm sure most Americans do.

It is one of the dirtiest athletic programs in America. They will do anything to win. Their fans are the most arrogant I have ever been around. I have hated them my whole life. They claim 15 national championships, but really the number 15 is all you need on your act to get in to that piece of s_ _ t school.

1992. I was in 7th grade. Bama killed LSU and had so many fans holding the TP rolls on top of a Tide box on a stick.

Some fat Bama woman leaned over and screamed roll tide in my fricking face. When they scored again I spit in her nachos.

I've hated them since that day and the hate will grow forever. I've already taught my 11 year old that he should never say he hates things unless it's Alabama.

Went to my first LSU game and started following LSU rabidly forty years ago this year. So forty years ago. I started watching at age six and I was fourteen when we first beat them. Bear Bryant was a towering figure in college football at that time. The hate came down from previous generations.
